Rain Postpones Debut for Caisse/McRae Racing; Doesn't
Dampen Spirits
Pelham, NH: It looks as if Sean Caisse of Pelham, NH
will have to wait yet again to rekindle his racing efforts. For the
second time, the Whelen 150 for the NASCAR Busch North Series originally
scheduled for Sunday, May 15 at Lee USA Speedway in Lee, NH was again
postponed on May 21 &22 due to inclement weather. No reschedule
date has been announced at this time. The event was to have been Caisses
first race back since taking a temporary hiatus from racing during
the 2004 season as he searched for sponsorship.
A revitalized Caisse will take on the challenge of the Busch North
Series with renewed enthusiasm and an arsenal of weapons-mainly support.
Throughout the 2005 season, Caisse will drive the Barney McRae-owned
#5.
I am very grateful for this opportunity, said Caisse. I am surrounded
by good people with an incredible amount of racing knowledge. This
is an excellent place for me to really start my Busch North career.
McRae, a driver for over 25 years, has adapted well to his new role
as car owner. He and Caisse communicate well and appear to have a chemistry
that will serve them well as they go forward. Former series champion
Mike Olsen of Haverhill, NH also has become a mentor of sorts for the
19-year old Caisse.
With a tremendous team behind him, Caisse lacks only much-needed sponsorship;
however, financial support is slowing falling into place. Over the
last few weeks, Caisse has signed on two associate sponsors- Trik Custom
Sleds of Lowell, MA and Town & Country Flooring of Pelham, NH.
Trik Custom Sleds is the first East Coast company to specialize in
custom snowmobiles for the sport of trail riding. They offer a wide
variety of chassis, engines, axels etc. with custom paint jobs, wheels,
storage services and more. With the highest in quality products and
services and attention to detail, Trik Custom Sleds promises to exceed
your expectations. Visit www.triksleds.com for more information. Town & Country
Flooring, New Hampshires Best Floor Covering Store, carries a full
line of linoleum, tile, wood, laminates, and carpet. To learn more
about Town & Country visit www.nhfloors.com.
Caisse is looking forward to additional track time to further build
his skills in the full-bodied cars. The teen had a solid showing during
the practice for the Whelen 150 at Lee back on May 14th.
I was very comfortable in the car, said Caisse. I was able to turn
smooth and consistent laps. I am satisfied with the performance of
the car and very proud of the team.
The College Student should finally get the opportunity to debut his
new ride when the Busch North Series moves on to Thompson International
Speedway on Saturday, June 12, 2005 for the running of the Busch North
150, a companion event to the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour. For more
information on the event at Thompson visit www.thompsonspeedway.com
or www.nascartouring.com. A comprehensive look at the career of Sean
Caisse is available by logging on to www.caisseracing.com.
