Castle Products, Inc. will be hosting a RACE FEVER event on Friday, July 8, 2005 from
4:00-7:30 pm at the Castle Hi-Tech Center. RACE FEVER is a NASCAR tradition, giving the fans an opportunity to meet the drivers, teams, and sponsors that make racing a family-oriented sport. This year’s RACE FEVER will be getting back to grass roots America with FREE admissionand old-fashioned concessions (10 cent ears of corn and 50 cent burgers, hot dogs and drinks).

Over 14 Busch North Series (BNS) teams are committed to being present at RACE FEVER, including three-time champion Andy Santerre (’02, ’03, ’04) and past champions Mike Olsen (‘01), Brad Leighton (’99, ’00), and Mike Stefanik (’97, ’98).

Drivers will be available to the media for interviews at 4:30 pm in the media tent. A one-hour autograph session follows indoors at 5 pm. A NASCAR BNS Pit Crew Challenge will follow at 6 pm. NASCAR BNS show cars as well as local race cars will be on display. Lake Erie Speedway will run its regular Friday series immediately following Race Fever at 7:30 pm (admission is only $1).

On Saturday, July 9th the NASCAR BNS will be at Lake Erie Speedway for the Local Dodge Dealers NASCAR Busch North 150 presented by Burnham Boilers. Discount ticket coupons for Saturday’s race events will be available at the Lake Erie Speedway table located in the media tent at Friday’s RACE FEVER.
