Another Top Ten for BNS Rookie Caisse at Lake Erie

For Immediate Release

Another top-ten finish for Busch North Series Rookie Sean Caisse of Pelham, NH has the Motion Racing team riding high.  On Saturday Night, Caisse drove his Trik Custom Sled Monte Carlo to an eighth place finishing at Lake Erie Speedway in North East, PA, earning the young driver Sunoco “Rookie of the Race” honors once again.

"We achieved what we set out to do," said Caisse of his eighth place finish Local Dodge Dealers 150. "We finished in the top-ten."

But for Caisse it goes beyond just the stats for the record books.

"It is important to me that I gain the respect of the other racers along with experience.  I think we did both of those things tonight."

It was a solid performance for the young driver who had never seen the facility before the evening.

"This was another first time for us and we are still able to be competitive," continued Caisse, "And that is something all of us on this team can be proud of."

Caisse started the race from the twelfth position on the grid after a qualifying run of 15.598 seconds at 86.550 MPH. He immediately jumped inside the top-ten and stayed there throughout the race.

"We caught the front running cars and we were good enough to run with them all night but we didn’t have any more for them."

Caisse showed maturity in the race on Saturday night as well driving a smart and patient race.

"Later in the race the car was really loose coming off the corner," said Caisse.  "I had a solid finish going so I didn’t try to push it."

Caisse is one of only eight drivers to have completed all 450 laps of BNS competition this season.

The finish by Caisse in the Local Dodge Dealers 150 at Lake Erie ties car owner McRae’s best finish as both a car owner and driver.  On May 19, 1991, If Caisse has his way, that will not be his owner’s career best for very long.

The Lake Erie event was also the "first time" for associate sponsor of the Motion Racing Team, Leather and Race of Brookline, NH.  The company, a supplier of racing and riding-themed fine leather apparel & accessories, came on board for the Local Dodge Dealers 150 and hopes to be a part of the team’s continued success throughout the 2005 season.  Check out the full product line at www.leatherandrace.com.

Caisse and company are looking forward to the New England 125 at New Hampshire International Speedway this weekend.  The event is scheduled for Friday afternoon, July 15, 2005.  For a complete schedule log on to www.nhis.com

"We had an awesome test at Loudon a couple of weeks ago,"said Caisse. "I am really pumped up to get back there to race."

Caisse made his Busch North Series debut at NHIS last September.  He also has a single start at New Hampshire in the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour in 2004.

The festivities for the weekend kick off with the Governor’s Breakfast on Friday morning.  As a racer and NH resident, Caisse always looks forward to participating in the breakfast.
