Pelham, NH:  Despite numerous attempts, the Twin 100s for the Busch North Series and Whelen Modified Tour at Thompson International Speedway have been postponed once again.  The original race date was postponed due to inclement weather back on June 12 only to be rained out again this weekend.  The remnants of tropical storm Tammy have forced NASCAR and the management of Thompson to reschedule the event for the third time.  The Pepsi Twin 100s will now be held on Saturday, October 29, 2005.

The rain may have dampened the race events this weekend but they could not quell the enthusiasm of Sean Caisse and the Motion Racing Team.  Although it will not become official until the Busch North Series can finally run the final race of 2005 at Thompson, Caisse has already clinched the 2005 Busch North Series Sunoco "Rookie-of-the-Year" Honors.

"This really means a lot to me," said Caisse. "I would like to thank Sunoco for their involvement.  You only get one shot at being Rookie-of-the-Year, which I think makes it even more special.  Being recognized by a leader in the industry like Sunoco Race Fuels among a great bunch of competitors definitely makes this a highlight of my career."

Caisse adds his name to an impressive list of drivers who have earned Rookie-of-the-Year honors in the Busch North Series that includes Tony Hirschman, Curtis Markham, Jerry Marquis, Tracy Gordon and others.  Many of which have gone on to win Series championships including Ricky Craven, Andy Santerre, and Brad Leighton.

"There is a tremendous amount of talent in the Rookie class this year and I am honored to be recognized among them. Both John Salemi and Jeff Anton came on very strong, especially in the end."

By any measure, Caisse has had an outstanding Rookie season in the NASCAR Grand National Busch North Series with six top-ten finishes in 12 starts including one top-five-a third place finish at Dover International Speedway last month-and a Bud Pole Award (Motor Mile Speedway). The young driver sits eighth in the points with a single race left to run.

"This award will be given to me but it is really for everyone on this race team," said Caisse.  "We have worked hard, we have raced hard, we have weathered anything that has been thrown at us and we have done it as a team.  We have succeeded as a team."

Unfortunately, during the last week Caisse has been part of a controversy not of his own making.  But nothing can overshadow the excitement of Caisse and his team heading into the final race of the season.

The Motion Racing team is coming off of a strong finish at Lime Rock Park.  Having never competed on a road course in a stock car, Caisse was thrilled with the tenth-place finish.

"We did not get very much practice time at Lime Rock because of some mechanical problems, so we were happy to qualify as well as we did," said Caisse.  "We pretty much ran inside the top-ten all day.  We could not have asked for anything more."

Caisse and company will carry that momentum over to Thompson for the season ending event.

"Thompson has always been a great race track for me.  It is kind of a home track for me," continued Caisse.  "My first Bud Pole Award came here in the Modified Tour when I was driving for the SPAFCO Team.  I love this place and I look for us to have a solid finish of the season here with our Casella Waste Services team. "
