Pelham driver Caisse gets first NASCAR win

Pelham's Sean Caisse withstood some late race beating and banging capturing his career first NASCAR Busch East victory Saturday night in the season-opening American Revolution 150 at Greenville-Pickens Speedway in South Carolina.

The 20-year-old Caisse, whose 69 laps led was the most of any driver, overtook Ryan Moore of Scarborough, Maine, around the outside on lap 142 and held on. Moore, who had made contact with Caisse earlier, hotly challenged Caisse nearly regaining the lead with 15 laps to go.

The race will be rebroadcast in its entirety on Thursday, June 22, at 5:30 p.m. on Speed Network.
